28 Jan Panasonic showcases next-gen smart surveillance ecosystem

Panasonic used the stage of Intersec 2026 in Dubai to introduce its most comprehensive smart surveillance ecosystem to date — an integrated platform combining AI-driven cameras, advanced analytics and enterprise-grade video management systems.

The unveiling brings together Panasonic’s new E-Series, V-Series, and P-Series cameras within a connected ecosystem supported by a network video recorder (NVR) and video management system (VMS). The platform is built around AI intelligence, delivering a cybersecure, reliable and scalable surveillance system. The launch supports the next generation of sustainable, smart cities.

Each camera line has been developed for specific operational needs. The E-Series offers a streamlined, scalable option for everyday surveillance across retail, hospitality, and small business environments. The V-Series provides intelligent imaging with AI-powered analytics, true-colour reproduction, and false alarm reduction – suitable for dynamic settings such as shopping malls, schools, and residential areas. At the top of the range, the P-Series delivers advanced performance intelligence for critical infrastructure and high-risk sites, incorporating Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), thermal imaging, and precision PTZ functionality capable of operating in extreme conditions.

The P-Series marks the first time Panasonic has introduced ANPR and thermal camera capabilities into its surveillance lineup. These features are intended to expand the company’s offering across high-security and infrastructure applications, improving proactive threat detection and situational awareness.
