08 May ACHEMA Middle East to Launch in Riyadh in 2026, Driving Industrial Innovation Across MENA
The global process industry is set to gain a major new foothold in the Middle East, as DECHEMA, organiser of ACHEMA, partners with Messe Frankfurt to launch ACHEMA Middle East in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2026.
Held every three years and supported by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, ACHEMA Middle East will serve as a premier platform to showcase industrial innovation and foster economic diversification across the wider GCC and MENA region.
The event will bring together global and regional leaders from sectors including process equipment, engineering, hydrogen and green technologies, digitalisation and Industry 4.0, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and lab analytics. By spotlighting cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions, the event is designed to support the region’s drive toward localisation, advanced manufacturing, and net-zero goals.
“With Messe Frankfurt, we have found a strong partner who shares our vision of further expanding ACHEMA internationally,” said Dr. Björn Mathes, CEO of DECHEMA Exhibitions. “This opens up excellent opportunities for us to firmly establish ACHEMA Middle East and to reach a global audience there.”
Wolfgang Marzin, CEO of Messe Frankfurt, added: “We are especially pleased to join forces with DECHEMA in setting up ACHEMA Middle East and to launch this renowned brand in a whole new region.”
Expected to host around 400 international exhibitors, the event will also include a comprehensive congress programme, creating opportunities for thought leadership, cross-border collaboration, and strategic partnerships that align with Saudi Vision 2030 and broader industrial strategies across the region.
As it makes its regional debut, ACHEMA Middle East is poised to become a vital meeting point for industrial leaders, policymakers, and technical experts working to shape the future of process industries across the Middle East and North Africa.
