11 Apr Advanced expands team into Africa

Advanced is continuing its push forward in the Middle East and Africa, with another appointment to its team.

The fire detection solutions manufacturer has taking on Hossam Badwy as its Business Development Manager to help with its growth strategy in the MENA region.

Badwy has built up an impressive career already in the fire industry. He has worked with fire protection products for 13 years in both sales and engineering roles. He is also a US National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Certified Fire Protection Specialist.

Working from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Badwy will be helping Advanced to forge new relationships with end users, consultants and system integrators as well as maintain existing relationships. The aim is to accelerate the company’s growth across Africa.

Badwy said of his new role: “Advanced already has a reputation for its excellent product quality and I’m looking forward to introducing that quality to a developing market.”

The company has been steadily building its Middle East and Africa team, with a number of recent appointments. In January Sargunan Sellamuthu was appointed to the role of Business Development Manager.
