02 Jul Ajax Systems recognised with EACD Communications Excellence Award

Ajax Systems has been recognised with the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) Communications Excellence Award in recognition of its approach to corporate communications and industry engagement.

The award honours organisations that demonstrate outstanding communication practices, successfully connect audiences through effective communication and make a wider contribution to organisational and societal development.

According to Ajax Systems, the recognition reflects the company’s efforts to modernise communications within the security industry by placing greater emphasis on user experience, visual storytelling and accessible product information alongside technical innovation.

Among the initiatives highlighted by the company is Ajax Special Event, its annual global product presentation. The latest edition, titled Dare to be First, combined a live online broadcast with almost 100 simultaneous launch events across 36 countries and reached an audience of more than 2.7 million people.

Beyond its commercial activities, Ajax Systems also pointed to a number of wider initiatives supporting education and public safety. These include Ajax Next, which promotes engineering education, and its contribution to the development of the Air Alert mobile application during the early stages of the war in Ukraine. The emergency warning app has been downloaded more than 46 million times and received the European Excellence Award in 2024.

Commenting on the award, Valentine Hrytsenko, Chief Marketing Officer at Ajax Systems, said the recognition reflected the company’s long-term ambition to change how security technologies are communicated.

“From the very beginning, our goal was to overcome indifference and prove that security communication can be exciting, stylish and people-centred,” Hrytsenko said. “We break outdated templates of the conservative industry, replacing the language of dry numbers with live emotions.”

Founded in Brussels in 2006, the European Association of Communication Directors brings together communication professionals from corporate, public and non-profit organisations across Europe and promotes professional standards through research, events and industry awards.
