This regulation mandates comprehensive security practices across development, manufacturing, and distribution, ensuring all stakeholders maintain stringent protection measures.

Local automotive organisations, particularly in South Africa, are urged to conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities. By adopting advanced cybersecurity measures and adhering to TISAX and UNECE standards, these organisations can bolster their defences against emerging cyber threats.
