Bitdefender Launches New GravityZone to Bolster Enterprise Defence and Productivity

BITDEFENDER HQ –  Bitdefender has launched the New GravityZone, bringing an unprecedented level of versatility, efficiency and support to the world’s most effective enterprise security solution.

The agility of the New GravityZone has its root in the original GravityZone, which was proven in April testing under industry benchmark Login VSI to allow users to reclaim up to 17% of their computing power and cut latency impact by as much as half compared to competitors. The New GravityZone is built on top of Bitdefender security technologies that lead the industry in terms of quality, with numerous awards from AV-TEST, AV-Comparatives, PC Mag and others.

GravityZone, which introduced to the world a three-second immune response, makes deployment easier than ever as the new version morphs to any operating system and any endpoint anywhere, conforming to corporate policies, physical and virtual environments and varying hardware performance.

The versatile device control of the New GravityZone lets users fine-tune permissions and exceptions for  the full array of devices including Windows portable, IEEE 1284.4, IEEE 1394, imaging, USB, modem, CD-ROM devices and more, as well as SCSI and Raid controllers, storage volumes, network adapters and more.

The new on-premise and cloud-based protection for Microsoft Exchange offers intuitive, centralized management while physical and virtual Linux machines benefit from on-access and on-demand security while security for physical endpoints is hardened by centralized scanning.

The launch of the New GravityZone coincides with a new Bitdefender business portfolio designed to maximize simplicity and versatility. The Enterprise Security option covers physical and virtual desktops and servers as well as mobile devices and offers smart central scanning, data center licensing and more. Bundle options include Advanced Business Security and Business Security.

“GravityZone was already at the forefront of the security industry, as has been proven in the latest testing,” said Bitdefender Chief Security Strategist Catalin Cosoi. “We have now taken that several steps further with the New GravityZone and we are excitedly awaiting the impact this has on the security industry and, mainly, on the security of enterprises everywhere.”
