  • Abu Dhabi base set to enhnce connected safety support for regional industries

Blackline Safety has announced the opening of a new regional office in Abu Dhabi as part of a wider international expansion that also includes a new site in Cologne, Germany. The move reinforces the company’s operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, aligning with its growth strategy in connected safety technology.

The new Abu Dhabi office will serve as a hub for customers operating in the energy, utilities and petrochemical sectors, providing local training and support for Blackline’s safety and gas monitoring products. It follows a multi‑year purchase agreement with ADNOC and forms part of the company’s deeper engagement in Middle Eastern markets.

Blackline’s announcement coincides with its participation at ADIPEC 2025 in Abu Dhabi and at the A+A trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. At both events, the Canadian firm is showcasing enhancements to its cloud-based safety platform, including geofencing capabilities, improved gas sensor visibility and new automation tools to streamline programme management.

Blackline Safety has been steadily expanding its footprint through connected devices and data analytics designed to reduce safety incidents and improve operational oversight. With customers in more than 75 countries, the company has collected over 300 billion data points through its cloud systems and managed more than eight million emergency alerts.

For the Middle East’s energy and industrial sectors, the establishment of a dedicated UAE base is likely to accelerate access to connected safety technologies that combine IoT monitoring with on‑site service and support.
