Blackline Safety Corp is set to reveal significant software enhancements at the 2025 National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Congress & Expo in Denver, Colorado, from September 12 to 18, 2025.

The company is introducing updates to its cloud-based safety platform, Blackline Live, aimed at enhancing safety operations and compliance.

Among the updates are upgraded bulk management tools that automate previously manual tasks, a refreshed Loner mobile app that protects lower-risk workers, and new geofencing capabilities designed to help organisations improve compliance and operational efficiency.

Attendees at the NSC are invited to preview these enhancements at booth #1506.

The updates include various features designed to automate and scale operations, such as the Bulk Actions tool, which simplifies fleet management by allowing users to add and manage hundreds of alerts, zones, and team members simultaneously.

The Alert Notification Manager provides browser pop-up notifications for active safety events, ensuring alerts are seen more quickly, while the SMS Number Assignment feature enhances the reliability of SMS alerts across different regions.

To improve worker protection, the Sensor Readings page provides live readings across devices, facilitating quicker responses to abnormal levels. AlertLink allows alerts to be shared among nearby devices, aiding in rapid team responses, while updated analytics and alerts reporting offer a clearer view of incidents and emergency responses.

The updated Loner mobile app extends protection to lower-risk lone workers who do not require rugged gas detection devices, using their smartphones for safety.

Additionally, Blackline will introduce ZoneAware, a powerful new geofencing capability that enables safety teams to monitor contractors, employees, and devices within defined areas. Developed in response to customer demand, ZoneAware enhances real-time visibility, optimising resources and tracking time spent in specific zones, particularly high-risk areas.

At the NSC, attendees can also hear from Yves Carrier, Blackline’s Business Development Director, who will discuss how organisations can leverage safety data and AI to make proactive, data-driven decisions that strengthen compliance and minimise risk. His presentation is scheduled for September 16, from 10:30 to 10:50 am MT at the Safety Huddle booth.
