10 Sep DoseTech partners with SA Fire Protection to enhance fire safety in African refineries

DoseTech has announced a strategic partnership with the Italian company, SA Fire Protection.

This collaboration aims to provide advanced fire protection systems as the industry modernises to comply with new standards and strengthen fuel security across the continent.

With DoseTech serving as a local distributor and integrator, the partnership guarantees that SA Fire Protection’s advanced monitors, deluge systems, and valves are not only installed but also maintained and supported to withstand the conditions in the region.

“Our systems are engineered for rapid, large-scale water or water-and-foam suppression. They are critical in areas where fast, decisive action is needed to prevent escalation,” said SA Fire Protection business development manager Sharé Mason.

Mason shared African refineries struggle with outdated suppression systems, and more: “We address these challenges with modular solutions for faster installation and locally supported maintenance programmes. Our aim is to keep systems operational and compliant, even in difficult conditions.

“We are constantly improving actuation systems, corrosion resistance and monitor ergonomics.”
