e-con Systems® has expanded its camera portfolio to support the recently launched Renesas RZ/V2N processor, showcased at Embedded World 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany.

Building on their collaboration with the RZ/V2H processor, e-con Systems aims to enhance high-performance AI vision in industrial automation, smart surveillance, and robotics.

Attendees at Renesas’ booth will experience an AI vision demo featuring innovative cameras, including the e-CAM22_CURZH, a Full HD ultra-low light camera based on the Sony Starvis™ sensor, and the e-CAM25_CURZH, a Full HD Global Shutter Camera using an onsemi® sensor.

Both are designed for seamless integration with the RZ/V2N development kit.

“The RZ/V2N processor, with its impressive AI capabilities, perfectly complements our camera solutions, enabling customers to develop sophisticated edge AI vision systems that deliver exceptional performance even in challenging lighting conditions. We’re happy to have our camera featured in Renesas’ showcase at embedded world 2025, supporting innovative solutions for industrial automation, robotics and more.” said Suresh Madhu, Head of Industrial Business Unit at e-con Systems.

“The Renesas RZ/V2N is developed to target high volume, broad-range of vision AI solutions, “ said Daryl Khoo, Vice President, Embedded Processing Product Group at Renesas. ”We are proud to couple this product launch with another successful global collaboration with e-con Systems, who has been our long-standing partner who already serves a wide variety of markets based on Renesas vision AI solutions.”
