13th Africa Security Symposium (ASEC2026), Accra, Ghana

July 7 - July 9

The 13th Africa Security Symposium (ASEC2026) will take place from 7–9 July 2026 in Accra, Ghana, convening more than 350 senior leaders from across Africa and the international community. Co‑organised with the African Union Commission’s Department of Political, Peace and Security Affairs (PAPS) and the Ghanaian Ministry of Defence, ASEC2026 provides a trusted platform for dialogue, partnership‑building, and capability development across the peace, security, and resilience landscape.

The three‑day programme features high‑level plenary sessions, expert thematic panels, a technology exhibition, live demonstrations, structured networking functions, and pre-scheduled 1-2-1 public–private matchmaking meetings. ASEC2026 also includes a Defence Attachés’ Workshop and offers simultaneous English–French interpretation throughout the event.

The symposium brings together defence, interior, police, intelligence, border management, and disaster‑response authorities alongside the United Nations, regional organisations, NGOs, and global industry partners. Delegates explore emerging technologies, operational challenges, and opportunities for enhanced regional cooperation.
