Exclusive Networks Africa and Proofpoint strike a large-scale cyber security distributions deal

Exclusive Networks Africa and Proofpoint have signed a distribution deal to further their security technology reach across Africa.

The cyber security specialist for digital infrastructure, and vendor of cyber security and compliance solutions will be partnering in a bid to sell across major regions this year.

The deal will allow Exclusive Networks Africa to market, sell, and support Proofpoint’s range of security and compliance solutions in East Africa, West Africa, and the Indian Ocean Islands.

The two companies released a joint statement, explaining that the agreement will enable Exclusive Networks Africa to sell Proofpoint‘s entire portfolio, including the Aegis Threat Protection, Identity Threat Defence, and Sigma Information Protection platforms, which expel threats at critical stages of the cybercriminal attack chain.

Mark Bennett, Senior Director of Channel for Northern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa said: “Email remains the number one threat vector, with cyber criminals consistently using social engineering attacks to target employees and trick them into falling victim to attacks.

“Proofpoint safeguards an organisation’s most valuable asset and biggest risk: its people. Proofpoint’s integrated suite of cloud-based solutions includes a people-centric view, allowing it to instantly detect vulnerable individuals and design a tailored security approach to best safeguard each individual employee across numerous cloud platforms.”

Anton Jacobsz, Managing Director of Exclusive Networks Africa, said: “Through our partnership with Proofpoint, we have teamed with a professional cybersecurity business that is recognised by Gartner and offers artificial intelligence and machine learning.”

Bennett added: “This extended collaboration with Exclusive Networks delivers cyber security protection that meets the needs of all organisations facing today’s fast-evolving threat landscape and further enforces Proofpoint’s commitment to its channel business in Africa and across EMEA as a whole.”
