  • The Fischer KEYSTONE Tactical Hub ensures seamless connectivity and interoperability for soldiers’ digital equipment, adhering to U.S. Army specifications
  • It features an expanded portfolio of cables, allowing for plug-and-play functionality and integration with various military devices, enhancing battlefield management
  • Designed for durability and ease of use, the KEYSTONE hub supports mission-critical operations, empowering soldiers with real-time situational awareness

In the heart of the Swiss Alps, engineers at Fischer Connectors were busy perfecting a creation that would soon revolutionise the way soldiers operated on the battlefield.

The Fischer KEYSTONE Tactical Hub was born out of necessity – a solution that could seamlessly connect various digital equipment, ensuring that soldiers had the power and information they needed at their fingertips.

Olivier Thormann, the Product Manager, watched as soldiers from around the world field-tested the hub. Their feedback was invaluable. “It’s reliable and simple,” they said.

Launched in March 2023, the KEYSTONE hub had already made a significant impact.

The R&D team tirelessly developed cables designed to enhance both ergonomics and interoperability in dismounted operations. The expanded cable catalogue provided soldiers the means to connect everything from electronic unit devices (EUDs) to helmet cameras and advanced targeting systems.

Each connection brought soldiers closer to the success of their missions, transforming how they managed data and power.

The hub itself could accommodate four or six ports, tailored to fit the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Hub specifications.

It was lightweight yet robust, built to endure the harsh conditions of modern warfare. As Thormann said: “KEYSTONE meets the growing demand for easy, reliable connectivity in dynamic operational environments.”

Soldiers could now power mission-critical devices, ensuring effective communication and awareness amongst their teams.
