  • The event will introduce key initiatives such as the Next-Gen Cyber Warriors Competition and the Critical Infrastructure Programme, focusing on real-world cybersecurity challenges
  • Dubai’s hosting of this event reinforces the UAE’s status as a global leader in cybersecurity, following its recent ranking as #1 in the Global Cybersecurity Index 2024

GISEC Global 2025 will gather over 25,000 cybersecurity experts at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 6-8 May, aiming to combat the escalating threats posed by AI-driven cybercrime and ransomware.

With the theme ‘Securing an AI-Powered Future’, the event will host over 450 Chief Information Security Officers and representatives from over 750 brands, including tech giants such as AWS, Huawei, and Microsoft.

The conference is particularly timely, as recent research indicates that 66 per cent of organisations view AI as a transformative force in cybersecurity, while 47 per cent are concerned that generative AI is equipping hackers with new attack vectors.

H.E. Dr Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, said: “GISEC Global comes at a critical time as cyber threats grow more prevalent and sophisticated.”

This year’s edition will feature significant initiatives, including the Next-Gen Cyber Warriors Competition and a dedicated Critical Infrastructure Programme to address operational technology vulnerabilities.
