UK fire door manufacturer JELD-WEN returned for the second consecutive year at the Fire Safety Event, which took place from 8-10 April.

With over 250 exhibitors participating, the event stood as the premier platform for construction professionals, facilities managers, fire safety experts, and suppliers to exchange the latest innovations in fire safety.

Visitors to the JELD-WEN stand were able to explore an extensive array of fire door sets, including various hardware options and finishes.

JELD-WEN, a licensed door processor that had recently achieved BM Trada Q Mark certification in addition to its existing Certifire and Certisecure accolades, offered a broad spectrum of fire doors specifically designed for multiple sectors.

Throughout the event, JELD-WEN’s team of experts was available to discuss essential performance and specification requirements, focusing on key sectors where fire doors are vital.

These included hospitals, care homes, schools, high-rise residential buildings, and office blocks, highlighting critical performance factors such as fire ratings, acoustics, security, durability, and aesthetics.

Lisa Ward, Senior Manager of Product and Marketing at JELD-WEN UK, said: “Fire doors play a vital part in providing passive fire protection in buildings to help keep occupants safe, providing a means of escape. This was a good opportunity to highlight how our fire doors have been designed, tested, and certified with the end project in mind.”
