29 Feb Lagos church fire cause remains unknown
A popular church in Lagos was destroyed by a fire on Wednesday morning (28th February).
The Household of David Church, located on Adeniyi Jones Street, Ikeja, was shown online engulfed by flames on the popular social media site, X, formerly Twitter.
User, Olúwadámilọlá, confirmed the incident by showing the main auditorium of the worship centre on fire.
The incident allegedly destroyed church property such as chairs, air con units and instruments.
At the time of writing, the cause of the blaze is not yet known, however, a plan to hold a Mercy Conference at the location has now had to be cancelled.
