Matrix has launched updates to its IP Video Surveillance Solutions, enhancing user experience across various industries.

The Network Video Recorders (NVRs) now handle data at speeds of up to 512Mbps, double the previous limit. They also support up to 18TB of storage, allowing for longer retention of footage. Current users can access these upgrades for free.

The latest Matrix Video Management Software allows users to receive event notifications via WhatsApp. Alerts for incidents like security breaches come with images for quick viewing, enhancing real-time responsiveness.

The software now seamlessly connects with Building Management Systems. For example, if tampering is detected, the system can automatically alert the relevant personnel, improving monitoring and response times.

Matrix’s cameras are now more robust, with an IP68 rating for better weather resistance and compliance with fire safety standards, making them ideal for industries like transportation and defence.

These updates underscore Matrix’s commitment to innovation and meeting modern security challenges effectively.
