27 Aug New conventional heat detector launched by Ravel Electronics

Ravel Electronics has revealed its latest product, the RE-316H-2L Conventional Heat Detector.

Designed to integrate with all conventional fire alarm panels, this device has a low-profile design and features dual LED indicators for 360-degree visibility.

The RE-316H-2L utilises advanced detection techniques and is equipped with a thermistor for enhanced sensitivity. It activates an alarm when temperatures reach a fixed level of 59°C or if the temperature rises by more than 11°C per minute.

Key features of the heat detector, as per a press release from the company, include polarity-free wiring, easy installation, and a regular 100mm base. The product is also UL listed.
