New security partnership

Fidelity ADT has taken over the monitoring and armed response of some of National Security and Fire’s customers from the start of this month.

Fidelity Services Group – who own the home and business security arm Fidelity ADT – is South Africa’s largest integrated security solutions provider. The new security partnership will see customers have access to one of the largest security fleets in the country, something that is particularly reassuring in time of uncertainty.

Wahl Bartmann, CEO, Fidelity Services Group, commented: “It has been demonstrated that companies that have a consolidated area footprint, are better positioned to provide a quality security service and we believe the integrated, proactive, and robust security and guarding service in a localised community-driven environment such as these will go a long way to mitigating crime in these communities.”

All affected National Security and Fire customers will be seamlessly linked the Fidelity ADT 24-hour emergency control centre. Some may require a new transmitter to be installed – at the company’s cost. Until such time as all transmitters have been aligned, National Fire and Security will continue to manage any security emergencies, the reporting of suspicious activity and alarm activations.
