05 Apr Owode market fire causes great loss

A fire destroyed parts of the Owode market in Offa Kwara State in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded swiftly to control the fire and to minimise spreading to other parts of the market.

No deaths were reported, however valuable items costing up to millions of naira were lost to the blaze.
