25 Mar RTS Textiles Ltd merges with TMG—Acabimentos Têxteis S.A. and Sapphire Textile Mills Limited

RTS Textiles Ltd (RTS) is undergoing a strategic merger with TMG—Acabimentos Têxteis S.A. (TMG) and Sapphire Textile Mills Limited (STM), which will form RTS Textiles Group Ltd (RTS Group) effective March 24, 2025.

This merger unites the strengths of all three partners to create a global leader in workwear and protective textiles, building on years of collaboration through joint ventures in Portugal and Asia.

As part of the merger, RTS Group will incorporate RTS’s renowned brands, including Carrington Textiles and Pincroft, alongside full ownership of CTI, MGC, and Melchior.

With a combined experience of over 275 years, the newly formed entity is positioned to improve operational efficiency and expand market reach.
