SEACOM announced on 1 October a new partnership with US-based cybersecurity firm Arctic Wolf to strengthen its cybersecurity services across Africa, in response to the continent’s expanding threat landscape.

As cyber-attacks increasingly target businesses of all sizes, this collaboration aims to offer SEACOM’s clients advanced security operations solutions, leveraging Arctic Wolf’s cloud-native platform and specialised security teams.

The partnership will provide SEACOM clients with proactive and customised protection against both existing and emerging threats. SEACOM highlighted that Arctic Wolf’s platform will deliver comprehensive visibility into customers’ attack surfaces, enabling businesses to monitor their entire security environment from a central interface.

This will allow for rapid detection and response to malicious activities or vulnerabilities.

SEACOM’s service portfolio will now include Arctic Wolf’s range of security solutions, such as Managed Detection and Response, Incident Response, and Cloud Security Posture Management.
