Suprema Showcases Newly Launched Biometric Access Control Solutions at IFSEC 2016

Suprema is showcasing the latest iteration of its biometric access control solution at IFSEC 2016 (stand E1400).

BioEntry W2 is an outdoor fingerprint access control device that blends numerous industry-leading technologies and innovations. Packed in a rugged IP67/IK08 housing, the device provides best-in-class matching performance (150,000 match/sec), live fingerprint detection technology and dual-band multi RFID reading technology compatible with HID multiCLASS.

Suprema is also showcasing second-generation fingerprint terminals, including BioStation A2 and BioStation L2, incorporating anti-spoofing live finger detection technology.

Suprema’s patented live fingerprint detection technology well blends image analysis techniques and optical engineering to prevent fraud through various fake fingerprint materials including clay, rubber, silicon, paper and film.

Suprema will also showcase BioStar TA, the latest version of BioStar 2 security platform with a major update in time and attendance features. While previous version’s major focus was set on providing access control features and development support for integrators, BioStar TA is to provide comprehensive time and attendance functionalities to BioStar 2.

Combined with user-convenient features such as time card, calendar view and overtime rule, BioStar 2 TA simplifies complicated time and attendance management by offering flexibility for diverse applications.

“As a leading innovator of biometrics-driven security solutions, Suprema aimed to deliver best-of-breed, and the most versatile solution to the market. At IFSEC 2016, visitors to the show can look forward to experience Suprema’s innovation on biometrics devices, open-platform solutions that will benefit end-users as well as installers and integrators in the entire supply chain,” said Young S Moon, vice president at Suprema.
