TLX Technologies has announced the successful launch of its Supervised Direct-Acting Solenoid Valve, which recently completed UL testing and is now recognised as a UL 429 and UL 429A component.

This product is specifically designed for clean agent, inert gas, CO2, and hybrid systems that depend on valve-integrated actuation.

The solenoid valve incorporates patented integrated supervision, ensuring compliance with NFPA 2001: Sec. 4.3.4.1 and EN 15004-1 supervision requirements, eliminating the need for additional supervisory components and electrical connections.

Its design features a removable coil assembly and a versatile threaded valve body made from electroless nickel-plated carbon steel, with options for brass or stainless steel depending on system requirements.

In standard configuration, the valve body includes a release valve and offers 1/8” or 1/4” NPT threading. When adapted for selector valve usage, it transforms into a customizable coupler.

The coil assembly is designed for easy installation and includes a captured fastener to ensure precision in placement during maintenance.
