28 Dec Veeam promotes Tim Pfaelzer to EMEA Vice President

Cloud data management vendor Veeam has promoted Tim Pfaelzer to general manager and senior vice president of EMEA.

He has been with Veeam since July 2021, holding the position of vice president, of enterprise EMEA and has accrued more than 20 years in the IT industry, featuring senior management roles at Dell, and various positions at Adobe, Autodesk and Salesforce.

“At a time when the success of every organisation across EMEA depends on the availability of their critical business data, it’s essential they are prepared to not just bounce back from an outage or data loss but to bounce forward,” said Pfaelzer.

Veeam continues to hold its ground as the number one EMEA provider of data replication and producer of protection software, holding 20.5% of the overall market share in the Middle East and Africa region.
