Saudi Arabia is set to host the inaugural World Stadiums and Arenas Summit (WSAS) from April 29–30, 2025, in Riyadh, bringing together over 1,000 global decision-makers to advance sports infrastructure development.
The two-day summit aims to explore key innovations, sustainability practices, and global trends influencing the stadiums and arenas sector. Participants will enjoy discussions on sustainable construction, smart stadium technologies, and enhancing fan experiences, all while aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.
Organised in collaboration with the Saudi Green Building Forum, WSAS is expected to attract over 100 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, showcasing next-generation stadium technologies.
With major support from strategic stakeholders and a strong programme featuring influential speakers from various fields, the summit underscores Saudi Arabia’s ambition to be a premier destination for global sporting events, potentially revolutionising its sports sector, which contributed $6.9 billion to GDP in 2023 and is projected to reach $16.5 billion annually by 2030.
