YSEC GLOBAL has announced the return of CYSEC AFRICA, scheduled to take place on 26 February 2026 at the Gallagher Convention Centre. Held under the powerful maxim, “Turning Cyber Threats into Africa’s Cyber Strength!”, the summit is expected to convene more than 250 C-level executives, CISOs, cybersecurity specialists, policymakers, and technology decision-makers from across the continent.
As one of Africa’s foremost cybersecurity leadership platforms, the 19th Global Edition of CYSEC AFRICA will address the continent’s rapidly shifting threat landscape while fostering stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The agenda will centre on enhancing national cyber resilience, safeguarding critical infrastructure, strengthening financial and telecommunications cybersecurity strategies, securing operational technology (OT) environments within the energy and mining sectors, and accelerating cloud security and zero-trust adoption.
Sessions will also explore governance, compliance frameworks and the cross-sector cooperation required to protect Africa’s expanding digital economy.
The event has received strategic endorsement from internationally recognised industry bodies and institutions, including CREST, ISACA, National Integrated Cyber Infrastructure System (NICIS), Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the African Center for Digital Transformation and OT Security Professional.
CYSEC AFRICA will also feature senior subject-matter experts and cybersecurity leaders from leading organisations, including Standard Bank, Sasol, MTN Group, Eskom, Absa Group, FirstRand, City of Johannesburg, Telkom SA SOC Limited, Sibanye-Stillwater and the Auditor-General of South Africa, alongside representatives from government, energy, financial services, telecommunications, mining and regulatory bodies.
The summit is supported by leading cybersecurity solution providers, including PhishRod, Silverfort, TXOne Networks, Cloudflare, Aeris, Varonis and Tegra, showcasing advanced innovations designed to reinforce Africa’s cyber defence posture. TEK Afrika joins as the Official Broadcast Partner, extending the event’s reach across the region.
Another major highlight of the event will be the CYSEC Awards, which will celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership in cybersecurity across Africa.
Speaking ahead of the summit, Ashish D Sail, Head of Partnerships & Sponsorship at YSEC GLOBAL, said: “We have been successfully hosting CYSEC AFRICA for quite some time now, and Johannesburg has always welcomed us with remarkable energy, leadership, and commitment to strengthening Africa’s cyber ecosystem. Each edition reinforces our belief that Africa is not only responding to cyber threats, it is building the capability to lead in cyber resilience. A strategic platform where Africa’s cyber leaders collaborate to transform emerging threats into long-term strength. By bringing together regulators, enterprises, and technology innovators, we are building a unified front to secure Africa’s digital future.”
