International Security Officer Day shows IFPO celebrating the heroes of safety

  • The International Security Officer Day is celebrated every 24th July
  • It is held to recognise the strength, discipline, and invaluable contributions of security professionals
  • IFPO is continuing its mission to foster professional and personal growth within the security sector

The world will join together with IFPO to honour International Security Officer Day, celebrated every 24th July, to recognise the strength, discipline, and invaluable contributions of security professionals.

These individuals serve as the frontline guardians of safety, often working tirelessly and without the recognition they deserve to protect people, assets, and institutions.

In alignment with this spirit, the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO) is continuing its mission to foster professional and personal growth within the security sector.

In light of the increasing demand for inner resilience, emotional intelligence, and strong leadership, the IFPO is pleased to announce the return of its Lead Forward Series with its fourth session, specially curated to coincide with International Security Officer Day.

The upcoming session, titled “Next-Level Success – The Mindset & Habit Upgrade,” is set for Thursday, 24th July 2025.

This virtual event promises to focus on long-term leadership transformation, guiding professionals to evolve from mere success to achieving significance by honing the essential mindset, habits, and purpose vital for sustained growth.

Leading the session will be Mehreen Owais, an internationally experienced Executive & Leadership Coach, ICF-certified and a Master Trainer with the NeuroLeadership Institute.

Participants can expect to delve into several key areas during the session, including:

– Marshall Goldsmith’s “20 Habits That Hold You Back,” fostering an understanding of and strategies to shed limiting behaviours.

– The Johari Window, is aimed at expanding self-awareness and uncovering personal blind spots.

– Purpose-led Habits, which focus on aligning individual values with professional aspirations.

– Ancient Japanese Wisdom, offering timeless principles for cultivating resilience.
