12 Aug Riverbed launces new AI-powered intelligent network observability solutions

Riverbed has unveiled new AI-powered intelligent network observability solutions designed to enhance network visibility for IT teams, enabling them to proactively identify issues before they escalate.

This launch is fuelled by a 92 per cent year-on-year growth in Riverbed observability bookings in the first half of 2025.

The launch includes the new Riverbed xx90 appliance series for AppResponse, NetProfiler, and Flow Gateway, delivering up to three times the performance of previous systems at the same price.

Organisations can use these solutions through the Riverbed Flex Subscription, enabling flexible deployments across hardware, virtual, or cloud instances.

The new Intelligent Network Observability Essentials bundle features tools such as Riverbed IQ for AI-driven insights, Workspaces for unified dashboards, a Grafana Plug-In for data visualisation, and a Topology Viewer that maps network topology with application performance.

The xx90 appliance family is designed for high-throughput performance and includes capabilities for real-time triage of encrypted traffic, supporting sustained packet capture over 50 Gbps and modular storage exceeding 2.4 PB.
