Ledlenser launches its new P-Series torches for enhanced brightness

  • Fire safety systems on school buses in the UAE have received significant upgrades
  • The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology mandated the retrofitting of about 2,500 out of 17,000 school buses
  • Sam Malins, CEO of Reacton Fire Suppression Systems, noted that many operators took the opportunity to upgrade during the summer

Ledlenser has revealed its fourth generation of the P-Series, which aims to redefine modern torches.

The new range features the use of 75 per cent recycled aluminium, making it an environmentally friendly choice for users needing reliable lighting in various settings, from construction sites to outdoor adventures.

“Torches are where it all started at Ledlenser. That’s why the P-series is at the very heart of our portfolio,” says Peter Bahner, product manager at Ledlenser. “With the new P-series, we’re honouring our roots while making the products significantly easier to use and more environmentally friendly. Our main goal was to create torches that are not only more intuitive but also more sustainable. The result: 16 models from ultra compact keychain and pocket lights to high-performance torches and professional grade search lights – all equipped with the best-in-class Advanced Focus System. Another standout feature: All aluminium components are made from at least 75% recycled material – without compromising durability or quality.”

The P7R is an updated version of a classic Ledlenser flashlight, featuring enhancements such as increased brightness, improved handling, and a Mode Select Ring. This new mechanism allows users to easily switch between light modes, activate transport lock, and access USB-C charging, even in low visibility or while wearing gloves.

The P21R is highlighted as the most powerful model in the series, designed for professionals who need to light up large areas, such as construction sites or tunnels.

Its design includes One Touch Focus, allowing for easy adjustment of the beam from floodlight to spotlight, which is useful in demanding conditions. This model, along with others in the P-Series, features the Advanced Focus System, which optimises lighting transitions.

Sustainability is a key focus for the new P-Series. The aluminium components are made from at least 75 per cent recycled materials, which helps decrease energy usage and carbon emissions linked to primary aluminium production. This strategy not only reduces the need for new raw materials but also upholds Ledlenser’s standards for durability and quality.

Additionally, all products are packaged in 100 per cent recyclable cardboard.
