05 Feb South African Drone Industry Gets Boost with Fast-Track CAA‑Compliant Dock Programme

South Africa’s drone sector has received a significant lift with the launch of a new enablement programme that allows mines, estates, utilities, ports and municipalities to bring fully compliant drone dock operations in‑house within just six to eight weeks.

The GoUAV Drone Dock Enablement Programme promises a turnkey route to owning and operating a South African Civil Aviation Authority‑compliant drone dock ground station. Beyond supplying the mobile dock itself, GoUAV works directly with clients to install the system and train staff, ensuring organisations can run their own remote aerial operations legally and efficiently.

The offering comes from TeleEye SA’s enterprise drone division, positioning GoUAV as a leading provider of DJI Enterprise solutions and on‑premise drone management systems for local firms, estates and property groups.
