Security Middle East Conference remains committed to the industry amid security challenges

The Security Middle East Conference, scheduled for April 2026 at Voco Hotel Riyadh, has postponed its event to 29 November 2026 due to ongoing security challenges across the Middle East.

Just weeks prior, it announced an elite roster of partners that promise unparalleled value for attendees.

However, the event has revealed that all partnerships, speakers and planned panel discussions remain in place.

Leading the partner lineup is its Strategic Partner, Intersec – the Middle East’s premier security trade show and experts in exclusive access to emerging trends and high-level connections.

This partnership will help amplify the conference’s status as an industry powerhouse.

Also partnering with the Security Middle East Conference 2026 are the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO), the Information Security Forum (ISF), the Professional Security & Safety Alliance (PSSA), the University of South Florida (USF) as the Certification Partner, and additional distinguished guests.

We have postponed the event, which is in its fourth year, after a careful assessment of the current regional situation, which has created significant barriers for key sponsors, speakers, partners, and the organising team to travel safely to Saudi Arabia.

Mike Dingle, Director of Security Middle East Conference, previously noted that the event will go ahead once safe to do so.

“Safety will always come first,” said Dingle as the postponement was revealed. “While we’re naturally disappointed to delay what would have been our strongest edition yet, this decision ensures we can deliver the high-calibre strategic dialogue and networking our region needs – when everyone can participate fully and safely. All bookings, sponsorships and speaking roles remain confirmed for November.”

The November dates preserve the Riyadh venue, speaker roster and core format, ensuring the same value when everyone can attend safely.

The event team confirmed that all who have already registered for the event will automatically be registered for the November edition, and they do not need to take any further action.
