ABC Solar is a leading distributor of Huawei Fusionsolar energy products in South Africa.

Bright Light has identified that the Huawei Fusionsolar Luna Series C&I Category BESS System, supplied by ABC Solar, is the best solution for many of these clients. ABC Solar and Bright Light offer two Luna options in South Africa: the LUNA 200KWH model and the LUNA 2MWH model. The entire LUNA 200KWH system measures 2.6m long, 2.2m wide, and 1.2m high, while the larger LUNA 2MWH model measures 6m long, 2.9m wide, and 2.5m high.

Bright Light Director Michael Faber, said: “Huawei’s compact products offer a practical solution for implementing renewable energy solutions, requiring significantly less space compared to conventional alternatives.”

The LUNA Series offers two different models for different purposes. The LUNA 2MWH version is more powerful and can achieve a maximum DC voltage of 1,500V. It has a nominal energy capacity of up to 2,032kWh thanks to its six batteries that provide up to 338.7kW each.

On the other hand, the LUNA 200KWH model is designed for smaller community schemes, like a block of 20 flats. It offers up to 193.5kWh capacity and a power rating of 100kW – which is more than enough for such purposes.

The LUNA Series C&I Category ensures safety with features such as Smart Air Cooling, Perfluorohexane fire suppression, and an IP55 resistance certification. It also has numerous safety and electrical IEC certifications. Additionally, it can operate in any humidity level at temperatures ranging from -30 to 55 degrees Celsius.
