Zambia’s president visits South Africa to discuss security

The Zambian president has travelled to South Africa to commence talks around security and trade.

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema arrived on Wednesday 26th January in South Africa to discuss security polices and trade plans between the two nations. This is the ninth trip abroad from the Zambian president since taking office last August.

Hichilema has met with south African president Cyril Ramaphosa who is currently Chair of the SADC on matters of politics, defence and security cooperation.
